Hi, my name is Mister. I am a part Schnauzer/Poodle mix. I think I am about 9 years old and weigh about 17 pounds. I was a rescue dog and lived in the wild for about 1 %BD years. After I was adopted, I lived with my human on a small farm for about 4 years. During that time I was hit by a car and now have problems jumping up and can't be lifted up by my hindquarters without pain. I moved up here with my human about 2 years ago. Then, sadly, my human passed away. I love being with someone all the time. I like to play and to be petted and snuggled up to someone. I am not good with small children. I have been neutered and microchipped. Up to ... (Read More)date on all my shots. I am groomed every six weeks. My complete medical records are at the North Shore Animal Hospital. I just received my new dog tag for 2016 and my rabies vaccine is good to 06/12/2017. I hope someone adopts me soon as my current humans have 2 other dogs and it is a crowded home. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Wisconsin
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
