Schnauzer Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Hitch! This gorgeous Schnauzer/ Terrier mix weighs about 15 lbs is about 3 years old. He came to us from a shelter by the border of Mexico and when he arrived we realized he had a leg injury that needed to be addressed. An old, hind leg fracture was found and Hitch had the surgery he needed to repair it. You could not meet a more sweet, loving dog than this guy. He is incredibly gentle and will happily sit as long as possible for cuddles and attention. He gets along with most dogs well but can be a bit alpha like with some of the other males. We LOVE this sweet boy and can't wait to find him the home he truly deserves! He is neutered, ... (Read More)current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Adoption fee for him is $300. We will be at the Petsmart in Madison on Sept. 6th and we will pre-adopt him when we find an excellent home. He would love to have a family there waiting to take him to his forever home! He is available for pre-adoption at this time, and you can fill out an online application at www.tracysdogs.com. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Wisconsin
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
