Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Sadie is a 4 - 5 yr. old, 10 lb., Chi/Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She is a nervous little dog and needs time to warm up to people. She likes some other small dogs, not all, and is very nervous around large dogs. She does prefer men to women, but she is afraid of children. She is good with cats. She really needs a quiet home where she can bond with people. She also needs work on housetraining as she will go when she gets nervous. She is very sweet and gentle if you go slow with her. She likes to go for walks and car rides. If you are interested in adopting her, call Maureen at 608-356-9683.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Wisconsin
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
