|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-21-00417Don Juan (male)|
My name is Don Juan and I came all the way to Wisconsin from Texas to find my very own forever home. If you are wondering about my whiskers that's cause I'm a Schnauzer/Border collie mix weighing in at about 25 lbs. I am 1.7 years old, all up to date on shots and neutered. Now on to who I really am. I am an energetic guy and love wrestling with other dogs however, my favorite spot is curled up next to your feet or on the couch. I will chase cats so I'll need a home with cats that are used to dogs. How can anyone pass up my good look sand charming personality??? Don Juan is currently being fostered in Reedsburg, WI. His adoption fee is $250 and cover his neuter, all age appropriate shots at time of adoption, microchip and health certificate. If interested please apply at www.hopingfurahome.com (DATCP 403260 DS). |Rescue Me ID: 16-05-16-00328Roscoe (male)|
Roscoe is a lover and cuddler most of the time. We have 3 children who he is amazing with. Unfortunately he has severe aggression towards other children, including our extended family and our children's friends. We are hoping to find an experienced owner or adult home only for him before we consider euthanasia. He knows basic commands and is house trained/kennel trained. He loves walks and bike rides and cuddling in bed with you. He absolutely cannot go to a home with children.

|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-13-00182Sadie (female)|
Sadie is a 4 - 5 yr. old, 10 lb., Chi/Terrier mix looking for her forever home. She is a nervous little dog and needs time to warm up to people. She likes some other small dogs, not all, and is very nervous around large dogs. She does prefer men to women, but she is afraid of children. She is good with cats. She really needs a quiet home where she can bond with people. She also needs work on housetraining as she will go when she gets nervous. She is very sweet and gentle if you go slow with her. She likes to go for walks and car rides. If you are interested in adopting her, call Maureen at 608-356-9683.

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Wisconsin|
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Wisconsin if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
