    Meet Ricky, or as we like to call him 'our raccoon'. Ricky is teeny at about 6lbs but he is a pistol. He is so full of life and energy. He gets very attached to his people and can be a tad possessive over his people, which is why we put probably not a good fit for children. Ricky gets along well with dogs and loves to play outside in our fenced in yard. He is a super cute little guy. Ricky will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.     Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in North Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
