Rescue Me ID: 15-03-04-00579EARL (male)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

EARL was saved from Montgomery County Animal Services on 28th February 2015 along with her siblings. EARL is definitely big brother amongst his siblings and can be a bit of a bully at times, as in protecting food and toys, whilst he has them. This I am confident will change when the pups are living amongst the rest of the dogs and they have other things to focus on and don't have to rely on each other for entertainment and pack order. EARL is confident, but he does like to be loved upon and to give you lots of loving back, he will climb into my lap if I give him the chance and relaxes as he gets his ear scratched and belly rubbed. We ... (Read More)don't have cats in the rescue so we cannot say how he will act, however, since he is young, with correct guidance and training and letting him satisfy any curiosity I am confident he can live in harmony with any feline friends. EARL will benefit from a family that has the time to spend training him to basic and advanced levels. This not only helps form a strong bond, but also enables boundaries and expectations to be set and both family and his body language be learnt. EARL is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. He is too young to be heart-worm tested, but has been on prevention since he arrived at rescue. EARL has an estimated date of birth of 21 October 2014 and at the time of rescue she weighed 18.0 pounds. EARL is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300. TRANSPORT- East Coast Although LOCATED in TEXAS we are using Rescue Road Trips LLC. and P.E.T.S. LLC, both highly reputable animal rescue transport companies to re-locate our dogs from rescue to meet their families along the East Coast (This allows us to save more dogs from the high rate kill shelters here in Texas). These are private companies and their transport fee's (which is paid directly to them) are $175 and $185 per dog. This fee is in addition to what you would pay the rescue for the adoption fee. Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

SMOKEY was saved from Montgomery County Animal Services on 28th February 2015 along with her siblings. SMOKEY is at first very shy, but soon warms up when she knows she can trust you and get lots of love. She gets along great with the other pups, both her age and younger and is coming out of her shell each day. SMOKEY is very gentle and is one of the smaller siblings and sometimes gets bullied a little. This, however, I am certain will subside when the pups are with the rest of the dogs and they have other things to focus their attention on. SMOKEY is very sweet and affectionate and as well as cuddle with her humans she loves to cuddle ... (Read More)with her siblings, she is very responsive and seems eager to learn. We don't have cats in the rescue so we cannot say how he will act, however, since she is young, with correct guidance and training and letting her satisfy any curiosity I am confident she can live in harmony with any feline friends.     CASHEW was saved from Montgomery County Animal Services on 28th February 2015 along with her siblings. CASHEW most definitely has alpha tendencies amongst her siblings and always wants and takes whatever they have, albeit it in a playful manner. CASHEW is a confident young pup, who loves to play with both puppies and the older dogs. She has no problem letting the bigger dogs know if they are playing too rough, or pushed her too far.
