|Rescue Me ID: 17-08-08-00012Moxie Midnight (female)|
Moxie Midnight is a quirky genius. She is feral but has come so far! She came in with a litter of pups that have all been adopted. She is large in size, weighing about 60 pounds. We have no idea on her breed but she will need grooming. We have groomed her & she does well. Moxie is guessed to be a Briard/Standard Schnauzer with possibly some Chow Chow. She is very dog-oriented (but independent, offering occasional play) & loves to be indoors in a cozy, safe place. She knows to potty outdoors. Moxie deserves only the best home that will understand they will need to gently assist her while equally realizing she will most likely always be a loaner. We can promise you this, she is gorgeous & helping her with training, you will have 'break through' moments with her that will be priceless. Moxie has survived being abandoned, heartworms (already treated), beginning stage liver failure (also treated & normal range now). She survived birthing beautiful babies & rearing them while ill. She needs someone with a heart of gold & the knowledge to help her along. Are you that someone? Moxie will require being leashed for a very long time as she is a flight risk. Interested? Please visit http://bit.ly/1m78fU5 to complete our quick online adoption application from your computer or desktop (not a phone). Moxie's adoption fee is $175 & includes: Spay, vaccines, microchip, deworming, a heartworm test, a wellness exam, a fecal test, a session with a trainer, & an offer of pet healthcare insurance for 30-days from adoption date. Thank you! (Less)

Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
