Rescue Me ID: 15-11-29-00141Snoodle (male)
This dog has been running wild in my neighborhood for over a month now. No tags or identification, Very friendly, just wants to play and be loved. Never seems to have any shelter and is looking as if he now has mange. I think he spends all of his time outside. There is a large abcess or tumor on his back. If he were cleaned up and cared for would be a wonderful pet. Need help for this sweet animal.

Rescue Me ID: 15-10-26-00178Scruffy (male)
Scruffy is a 7-year-old neutered male miniature schnauzer. Scruffy has been in our family since he was 6 weeks old.Current on all vaccinations. He has lived with one other miniature schnauzer his entire life and is only around other animals when boarded at the vet when we go out of town. Scruffy is fun loving and playful but has recently become aggressive toward my small child, and this is the reason we are trying to find a new home for him. Never any problems with my older children or adults. Loves new people. Is an indoor dog but loves to go outside and chase squirrels and run in the yard. Scruffy is accustomed to being in his crate when we are out of the house and also sleeps in the crate at night. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-10-26-00175Skippy (male)
Skippy is a 7-year-old neutered male miniature schnauzer who has been with our family since he was 7 weeks old. Approximately 20 pounds. He is current on all vaccinations and has been very healthy all his life. He enjoys gentle loving attention from adults and older children. He does not do well with small children, which is the reason we are seeking to re-home him. He has lived happily with one other miniature schnauzer, and has only been around other animals when boarded at the vet's office if we go out of town. He has somewhat of a sensitive stomach and has done well with Iams mini-chunks dog food for the last several years. He is an indoor dog and does not like to stay outdoors for very long. He gets very excited around new people and dogs but will calm down after he gets to know them. He is accustomed to being in crate with soft bed when owners are out, also sleeps in crate at night. Would be very happy with someone who can spend plenty of time with him. (Less)

Animal ID: 0055Tasha (female)
The shelter listed as a Shih tzu mix but I do believe Tasha is Schnauzer mix by her coloring. She came from High Kill shelter off EU list in Texas, as this baby is only about 10 months old and was on EU list to be killed, They had her on the EU list for being a biter, She must have been abused is my opinion, as it took her a few days to settle in here, She loves my grandson loves me and loves my son. Introduction to new people is scary for her, but if given a day or two out of my home she will be fine. She just needs someone to give her a chance like I did when I saved her life. I had her fixed and all the shots done in Texas, a couple days ago paid for this and now I have to pay for transport, So worth saving this little ones life. She is now here and ready to find that special forever home. She is still learning so be mindful she is just a pup. (Less)

Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
