Rescue Me ID: 18-02-11-00290Biscuit (female)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Biscuit was a rescue puppy. We've had our Biskie doggie since November, 2008. We believe her to be about 10 years old. We love her (and it breaks my heart and makes me cry to write this), but with 2 of us working 50-60 hours a week, and 3 more of us working all day and having various evening commitments as well, our family is no longer in a position to give her the attention she needs and deserves. She is a couch potato, and prefers to lay next to me (her mom) whenever she can, although she will lay next to whoever is available. She is good with children and cats, but dogs make her nervous. She is a sweet girl, and we will miss her ... (Read More)terribly, but she really needs a stay at home mommy or daddy. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Missouri
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
