Rescue Me ID: 14-07-22-00529Brie (female)

Schnauzer    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Arthritis,
 Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Brie is a beautiful, full bred Schnauzer. She gets along well with dogs and cats. She is food aggressive. We avoid this problem by putting her food bowl down first. She is good with children, as she has grown up with them. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep Brie due to unforeseen circumstances. We have been caring for her while my boyfriend goes through a divorce. His ex-wife is refusing to take her as agreed to on the onset. Due to Brie's health problems we are unable to care for her any longer. Brie limps and sometimes refuses to use her right back leg. She also urinates and defecates in the house. She ... (Read More)is taken out regularly so I am not sure why this is happening. We are in Boston for the summer and will not be able to bring Brie home with us to North Carolina. Our worst case scenario is to take her to the MSPCA if we can not find someone to take her by August 15th. I can send pictures via text upon request. Thank you. (Less)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

PUT INFO HERE. DON'T FORGET TO ADD AGE AND WEIGHT. Meet Del!  Del is just an awesome happy loving dog.  He is about 4 years old and weighs about 13 lbs.  Del is great with other dogs and just wants to play play play.  After only an hour with his foster he was doing everything that he could to jump into her arms.  He has already started winning hearts with the volunteers.  He will bark at new people but will immediately move in for kisses and pets.  He has not been around children or cats but his behavior suggests that he would be appropriate with both.   If you are interested in finding out more ... (Read More)about Del, please fill out an application on our website by copying and pasting the following link into your browser. http://www.brokentailrescue.org/adoption-application/ Del is being fostered in Brighton and the adoption fee is $350. "Like" Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook! NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. (Less)

Schnauzer    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Miley loves to cuddle and be rubbed. She growls a lot but never bit anyone, it's something she's done since she was a puppy. She has a brother Boston and they are inseperable. She is aggressive with other dogs but I don't know how she is without her brother around since they seem to feed off each other. I have to move in an apartment and i can't find one that takes 2 dogs never mind 1. I would love for them to be together but as long as they go to a loving home I'm happy

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Massachusetts
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
