Schnauzer    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive

Chloe is a sweet little girl but has a little bit of anxiety and likes to know you are around. She loves to cuddle and is happy being in your lap, playing and going on walks. She does well with other dogs and spends time at daycare, so she is well socialized. She is great with children but best in a home with people who are around quite a bit as she gets lonely. Again, Chloe is good with other dogs and currently lives with cats also. Please request more pictures if you wish.

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults

CHEWY is a 3 months old Lab/Schnauzer mix. He got today surrendered tto us because his very young owner is living in a hotel and couldn't keep him anymore. She initially gave him to one of her friends just to fiind put that Chewy was just 2 days later tied to a dumpster. She then contacted us and now Chewy is part of the paws and Stars crew and looking for a real home. He is very smart and outgoing and walks already very well on a leash. Of course he is not potty trained yet. Fully grown he will be a medium to large dog. IMPORTANT: CHEWY is located in Georgia. Since it is an out of state adoption we require a personal history of current ... (Read More)or previous dog ownership which can be verified by your current or previous veterinarian. We do not adopt out to first time dog owners. We are a rescue organization located with our dogs in Georgia. We do NOT have a shelter in MA but have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent once your application is submitted. His adoption fee is $ 475 which includes transport cost, travel certificate, all vaccines, neuter, heartworm test and micro chip. OUR ADOPTION FEES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE!!!! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Schnauzer in Massachusetts
Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Massachusetts if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
