Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Shark Miniature Schnauzer Estimated DOB: 07/08/2011 Male Adoption Fee: $275 Hi! My name is Shark! I am a special guy looking for a very special family. I need some help with my manners. I want to be a good boy and love treats and pets, but sometimes I get scared and react, especially when you try and pick me up. I am already learning lots of commands like 'sit', 'back up', and 'crate' and am really smart. I'll make a great dog for someone willing to work with my quirks. I need a family without small kids please, but other dogs are great! I've got a second chance to find a family to love me forever. Is it you?

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Scruffy is a neutered male terrier mix that is approximately 2.5-3 years old. He can be a little protective of his food but we are working on that. He likes other dogs but does better with submissive dogs since he likes being the boss. He likes to chase cats, but never hurts them. He enjoys running squirrels and birds out of the yard. He loves to greet you when you come home. He is also very comfortable riding in the car. He is house broken and seems to be crate trained. He is a super sweet dog that loves people and would make a wonderful family pet! If you are interested in giving Scruffy a forever home please visit the link below to fill ... Rescue Me ID: 16-08-18-00723Charlie (male)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Charlie is an amazing boy. He and his female companion were surrendered to us since the owner couldn't take care of them anymore. Charlie is very laid back. He could stand to lose a couple of pounds he has gained because of the lack of exercise. Charlie loves to go for walks with his friend Sassy. They are very bonded. The only way we would split them up is if there is another dog in the household or the new potential owner has enough time to keep Charlie enough company. Charlie is a 6 year old Schnoodle ( Schnauzer / Poodle) mix and weighs 20 lbs. HIs ideal weight would be around 16 probably. He is housebroken, none destructive and great ... Rescue Me ID: 16-08-13-00087Arnie (male)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Arnie needs your heart and your help! He is a very sweet fella. His owner has had to be moved to an assisted living facility in Dunwoody and due to his general health concerns will no longer be able to care for Arnie. For the past two months or so friends have been keeping him but unfortunately none of the friends, including myself are in a position to keep him permanent. We want a permanent home for this deserving dog. He's not been house trained fully but is almost there. He was just neutered and is healing well. He is healthy. The perfect person might be one with time to help Arnie to be trained socially as well as physically. He is very ... (Read More)loving and might be good with older children. I don't think young children or infants would be the best fit. He can be unpredictable at times and has recently nipped. I have two other Shih Tzus and he got along well with them so I do think he would do well with other small dogs. He might be fine with a big dog as well but I'm not sure. Arnie has a great appetite and does the cutest little motion when he wants what you have. He is really a pleasant dog but needs the attention of his owner. He is used to the kennel now if the new owner decides to use one. The big request would be that whomever takes Arnie that it be a permanent move. We don't want him bounced around anymore. The other request is that the new owner would make an effort to visit with his original owner in the Assisted Living every once in a while. Even a few times a year for a few minutes would be so appreciated. He lit up when he saw him and naturally he misses Arnie. If you are interested please give me a call and we will set up a time to meet one another. If you have a dog let's plan to have them meet each other at that time to see the interaction. The adoption fee is covering the cost of the recent neutering and rabies shots. He does have a micro chip but it is not currently registered so the new owner would want to take care of that soon after he comes. Thanks for considering Mr. Arnie! (Less)

Schnauzer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I have a special needs mini schnauzer mix that has chronic dry eyes. I am sadly unable to give him the time and care he needs. I desperately need to find a new home for him. He is approximately 3 years old and is fully house trained, crate trained and is an all around good boy. He is not neutered. I have been caring for him for several months after a coworker said they would be taking him to the shelter. I do not want him to be put down. He deserves a loving and caring family. He is truly a special dog and will make wonderful companion for any person. He is great with other dogs and cats as well. Kind regards, Lynae Sammons
