Rescue Me ID: 17-02-22-00324WOODSTOCK (male)
You know that expression, a face only a Mom could love; that's little Woodstock. He is so adorably Wookie-looking that you cannot help but fall in love. You will admire him for his flowing ear hair and his wacky eyebrows, down to his curly tail with wispy fur. Woodstock is a three-year-old Schnauzer mix who is straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. He is learning how endearing he is and starting to accept and appreciate that we all want to hold him. Woodstock just asks for a little patience while he learns to trust you, and then he will be your best friend for life. He weighs 16 pounds. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-21-00172Felix (male)
Our foster family found this little dude months ago with no collar, tags or chip and has been searching for owners, but nobody has come forward for him. Its time for him to start his new chapter. He deserves a home that he can say is his! He is probably around 10 months and is a small dog who will weigh maybe 10 pounds as an adult. He is a happy little dude, who gets along with everyone. He is in a new foster home now, but previously he used a doggy door. Now he is being crate trained and doing excellent. He gets along with other dogs, and cats too! He loves kids, and would make an awesome family dog. He is still a puppy, and is playful and active and loves to run around the yard. If you would like to give Felix his new beginning, let us know!!! As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip (with lifetime registration), and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spayed or neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will be responsible to transport the dog, to and from dropoff/pickup point. Each dog will receive 6 mths of heartworm preventative medication. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food. You are entitled to a free physical exam with one of our vets. Each of our dogs comes with 4 training classes that are mandatory to attend. These classes take place at Choice Pet Market or Market Street Pet Depot or on a Tues or Wed evening from 6-7 pm, and will be scheduled after adoption. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-20-00009TROY (male)
SAY HELLO TO TROY! Troy is a very sweet 4 year old Poodle/Miniature Schnauzer mix boy who loves lots of attention and to be at your feet or on your lap. He was found as a stray and his owners were never found. He's very happy go lucky, very bright little guy and is willing to please. He is very smart and gets along with most other dogs and likes everyone he meets. Troy can sometimes be selective with other male dogs ~ and can be a bit aggressive with them if he doesn't care for them. He would probably do best with another female, however a meet and greet if there is a male dog in your home that will be required. Troy weighs in at 10 pounds and will not get any bigger. He walks well on a leash and is house trained, but like all rescue dogs, he will need gentle guidance in his new surroundings. Troy's adoption fee is 450.00. This includes his neuter, vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, Veterinarian check up, de-worming, microchip and professional groom. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-14-00094Pepper & Roscoe (female)
Pepper and Roscoe (male and female) are 9 and 10 years old. They are absolutely delightful! Their family has encountered some unavoidable changes and these two pups (and one other) are losing their home. Pepper & Roscoe are inseperable so they must be adopted together. They are friendly, loving dogs, and while they are good with children, we recommend a home for them where children are a minimum of 10 years old, AND have the understanding of how to be gentle and responsible with pets. As they are awaiting their vet / dental appointment, we are accepting applications for review, and upon approval, they could go into a foster-to-adopt situation as well. If interested, please request an application. They are spayed/neutered, and before being adopted will be newly vaccinated, have current rabies shot, microchip, and each will have a complete dental. Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
