This darling dog is looking for a new forever home. He was originally found as a stray, and when the owners were finally found, well, they didn't want Tony anymore. The person who found Tony would love to keep him, but she has too many animals already, and wants him to find a family that he can be the star in! That's what he deserves after being abandoned the way he was. He is as friendly as friendly can be. And playful as well. He LOVES toys, loves chasing them, loves squeaking them, loves playing with the rope, you name it, he wants to play with it! He is young, so he has a good amount of energy, and will need some exercise daily. He gets ... (Read More)along well with other dogs, and ferrets too, so he probably would do well with cats. He walks well on a leash, and would be great for a walking, or jogging partner. We know he is going to make someone a great companion - if you are interested in meeting Tony, please let us know!!! As part of your adoption PACKAGE, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. Each dog will come with a starter package of heartworm preventative. If the dog is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, you will be required to transport the dog to/from the drop-off point on surgery day. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and if you live in the designated zip codes, you will also receive a $50 gift card from Choice Pet Market. We will also give you 2 FREE training classes with our force free, positive reinforcement trainers. (Less)

Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids.
