|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-27-00045Sprocket (male)|
Sprocket is a 7 year old Skye Terrier/Schnauzer Mix. He is an energetic and fun boy that loves to cuddle and loves treats! Sprocket was brought into Maricopa County Animal Care & Control on 9/23/13 as a stray. He was placed on the euthanasia list due to superficial wounds on his muzzle and for missing some teeth. We think they guessed his age older than he actually is due to the condition of his teeth. I noticed him right away; he looked so sad and lonely, and as I walked towards him, he immediately started doing 'jumpies', hopping up and down on his hind legs while pawing at the air, as if to say 'Pick me! Pick me!' We fell in love immediately. He has been living with his foster mamas, along with their little boy dog and cats. He co-exists well but gets nervous around bigger dogs. They have been working with him on house training, walking on a leash and sitting and he does very well. He would probably do best with access to a doggy door. He cleans up well but looks cute when he shags out too! Sprocket is neutered and current on Rabies, 4-1 and Bordatella vaccines and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $155. |Rescue Me ID: 14-08-26-00025Honey (male)|
This little cutie was rescued as a stray by a poor Hispanic family in Phoenix. This nice family had brought in many strays they had found in their neighborhood. They finally got to a point that they needed help and they called Pee Wees Pals. Honey is a real cuddler, very quiet and does not bark. If you are interested in meeting Honey, please go to PeeWeesPals.Org and fill out the adoption application. Once we receive that, one of our passionate volunteers will contact you asap.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-08-25-00348Diamond (female)|
Meet our Diamond, she's our little Schnoodle girl! She is a healthy, young adult who wants nothing more than to play, play, play! If you are looking for a dog that would be awesome with your kids, she would be it. She just loves everyone! She has some basic obedience, and is potty trained. And guess what, she already uses the doggy door! She travels really well in the car, because she is crate trained too! She's pretty much got it going on, and whomever gets to adopt this little gem, is going to be a very lucky person indeed! She will need to be groomed from time to time, but she is a low shedder and would be good for someone who is looking for a dog that produces little allergic reaction. If you are interested in meeting our gem Diamond, let us know! As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You will receive free training classes provided by our positive reinforcement trainers. If the dog is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, you will be required to transport the dog to/from the drop-off point on surgery day. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and if you live in the designated zip codes, you will also receive a $50 gift card from Choice Pet Market. (Less)

Schnauzer Dogs can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. The Schnauzer is a thickly bearded, medium sized, Terrier type dog. Schnauzers are proud, vivacious animals. Schnauzers are protective toward their people and want to be the boss. It is important to thoroughly socialize and train a Schnauzer when it is a puppy. Schnauzers do fine with older kids. A Schnauzer needs lots and lots of exercise and a daily walk but can live in an apartment if its exercise needs are met.
